Alert Readers

Some of our readers are looking out for everyone else out there. One our alert fans, Tasmania Fame himself, found this item:

Seems like it's one step above an effin' tin foil hat if you know what I mean! Glad to see you're looking out for all of us, Fame!

Thinking Outside the Box

Matraxis Vile writes in: "I have a question for STV about the coming apocalypse, not that there is one coming or anything, but if there were, what if there was this big earthquake and it let out this ancient virus just as a comet was coming close to hitting the Earth and the US, Russia, China, North Korea and Syria all launched missiles to try to stop the comet but the guys shooting the missiles were so sick from the virus that the missiles went wild and started WW III which caused the Ryugyong hotel to topple causing an underground EVENT which forced the LHC slightly off axis causing two particles to merge into a black hole which then dropped deep into the earth and made the door to the House of R'lyeh open. Would that be bad?"

Now that's thinking outside the effin' box Matraxis. That's the toughest question we've gotten so far. Because before I can answer it, I've have to ask "Bad for who?" Right.

Out of Control

Our mailbag is out of effin' control. Danny Peng writes "What is the intrinsic download for music? Am I missing something important?"

Only if you want to listen to songs on devices other than through your special STV viewer, Danny. Remember you can go to the utilities section in your STV viewer and at the top you'll see where on your computer the mp3 versions of the STV songs are stored. Note that the folders may be hidden so you may have to do some shenanigans to actually get to the songs, but it wouldn't be any fun if you didn't have to work for it. Nice! You may lead the league in BarfBucks, Danny, but you're falling behind on the music. Of course, we're not doing any standings yet, so who's counting?

More Mail Bag

Tasmania Fame writes "How come some of the songs on my MP3 intrinsic download are different then those featured in the STV version? ( I refer mainly to the Christmas carols and the Devo-Polka)?"

Nice! Good to hear some of you are putting STV songs on your iPods and such. We've gotten a few questions about our choice of Christmas carols and frankly I'm confused. As far as I can tell the videos match the songs perfectly. Maybe you shouldn't be partying so much Fame? I've read about your trashed hotel rooms - might be messin' with your effin' head?  As to the polka, I guess playing all of that would have been total overload. STV just stuck with playing the interesting bits.

That's all for now. Keep those questions coming!

Mail Bag

2012 is here an our readership is on the rise! Must be that everyone is finally waking up to the dangers of this coming year. Either that or the new STV video about blogging. Now that we have more readers, questions are pouring in. Let's answer a couple.

Darryl asks "Is Nigel Barf your real name?". Hah! That's an insightful question. Nah, it isn't. It's my stage name. My parents named me Barney, but you can't get any chicks when you're named Barney, so I changed it to Nigel. Chicks dig Nigel! You should remember that too, since it will no doubt be a Jeopardy question. Nice!

Lila Dent writes "Barf University is a stupid name for a college. Who'd want a degree from Barf University? Couldn't you come up with something better?" Nice one, Lila. I couldn't agree more. I was totally pushing for University of Barf, but the effin' marketing people insisted. Said UoB just doesn't roll off the tongue the same was as BU.

And if you'd like to ask a question, just send one to me and I'll cover it in a future mailbag. And you'll get a 5 BarfBuck credit for the first question you submit. Nice!

Firsts

I got to have my first Christmas ever. I wasn't sure about the whole gift thing, but then Paul got me this electric pencil sharpener. Nice! I've never had one of them before. Now if I just had a pencil... I'm also excited about some other firsts coming up, my first time on TV on New Year's Eve, and then the first day of classes at Barf University. I hope to see you all in a BU class soon.

Need to Make Some Extra Bucks?

We could all use a few extra bucks this time of year. Especially BarfBucks. They're effin' hard to come by right now. But if you simply submit your own I Gotta Have My STV video your account will be credited with 50 BarfBucks. Nice! What could be easier?
