WarterGate Plagues Gingrich in Nevada

The recent rumors surrounding Newt Gingrich's cousin Wart Muckman, alleging that Gingrich has bribed judges on Wart's behalf, appear to have severely damaged Gingrich's results in Nevada. The allegations first surfaced on the prominent blogs of David Sirota and Glenn Greenwald and have been dubbed 'WarterGate'. Gingrich finished a distant fourth behind Cthulhu, Snagglepuss and Mitt Romney.

Nevada marks the first delegate gains for the pink puma and the elusive deity of unspeakable horror. Snagglepuss was the early favorite to win the race, but continues to be dragged down by the efforts of the SCRAM PAC. Some analysts believe that Cthulhu's purported propensity for destroying the sanity of those who speak his name is responsible for the lack of attack ads against him.

The next key date to watch is February 7th, when voters go to the polls in Colorado, Minnesota and Missouri. Meanwhile Maine holds its caucuses through February 11th.

Snagglepuss Leading Nevada

Citing the heavy "Moron Influence" in Nevada, current polls are showing Snagglepuss out in the lead. Cthulhu is polling second as voters who want to hedge their bets against the Greater Evil seeking revenge on those who voted against him. Mitt Romney is a solid third, based on the "Mormon Influence".

The Missing Link

I was reading Tasmania Fame's recent blog posts and having a real problem understanding some of the jokes there. I was thinking, this effin' Earth humor just doesn't quite work right, or I'm dumber than a Monkey or something. So I asked him about it and he said "Didn't you click on the links?"

And I said "No. I didn't notice that it was a link." And so I went back and clicked on the link and then it was effin' hilarious. Nice! So just in case you're like me and you didn't notice the subtle changes on the links on some blogs, on my blog they look like this. Whether Tasmania will tell you what his look like or not, well that's up to him. Blake Cates' are pretty easy to spot with the bold green and all. And as to other blogs, well, you know if you know.

A Sticky Wicket

Rain in Canberra forced the cancellation of the Australia PM XI cricket match versus Sri Lanka, spoiling singer Tasmania Fame's cricket playing debut. Sri Lankan cricketeer Kumar Sangakkara has denied all involvement with the inclement weather stating "I would welcome the opportunity to play against, what's his name again?"

This seems to be a part of the same storm system which has been wracking Japan lately, piling up more than 4 meters of snow in parts of the country with a death toll of 56. You can read more about the storm here. The snows have been particularly concentrated in the Aomori Prefecture, home of Mount Osore, Japan's famed Dread Mountain.

Heck, maybe later this year when you tour Asia you can stay at the Hotel of Doom en route to your visit to Dread Mountain. Fun times in Asia today!

BarfBuck Rankings

I'm sure everyone is dying to know the BarfBuck rankings these days. These reflect BarfBucks acquired to date. Note that your account is credited when you submit things like videos, you don't have to wait for them to be run. The top five right now are:

1. Vash Dancer
2. Tasmania Fame
2. Blake Cates (tie)
4. Katarina Drum
4. Danny Peng (tie)

I'm sure things will get more interesting once we get some Deal or No Deal results and some IDR going. Nice!
