Looks like well known Egyptian archeologist Dr. Zahi Hawass has gotten himself in some trouble. You can see some of his woes here. Along with charges of wasting public money, it turns out he continued to claim himself to be Minister of Antiquities to many key visitors to Egypt even though he had actually resigned from that post in the summer of 2011.Who knew?
Some years it is just so difficult to know who to trust...
